Final Exam of Even Semester at FMIPA UII, Online and Offline Methods Become Options
FMIPA UII – Entering the end of the even semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year, Thursday (July 21) marked the first day for the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UII to carry out the Final Semester Examination (UAS). UAS is one of the academic activities that must be held by educational institutions at the end of each semester. This final examination takes place from July 21 to July 30, 2022.
Considering the current situation still affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, FMIPA UII has adapted by finding the best solution so that the final exams can still be held as planned. Therefore, the procedures and technical implementation of the final exams are carried out through two methods, namely online and offline. The online exam procedure is conducted in several ways, such as take-home exams or via Zoom meetings supervised by invigilators to minimize cheating. Students who have completed the exam are required to submit their answers through the assignment forum provided by the lecturer in Google Classroom or the agreed Learning Management System (LMS). The results will later become one of the components for the students’ final semester evaluation.
This final exam is expected to be an evaluation and a benchmark for lecturers to assess the level of students’ learning competency achievement. The exam committee has also prepared everything in a detailed and structured manner so that the Final Semester Examination for the 2021/2022 Academic Year can run smoothly and successfully.
