Islamic University of Indonesia holds firm commitment in formulating religious development within the University. This commitment is realized through the implementation of the deepening of Islamic Basic Values ​​I (PNDI I) in 2022 which is attended by all new students for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The entire series of activities is routinely held every year by the Directorate of Islamic Education and Development (DPPAI) UII and must be followed by all new students. PNDI is held annually in each faculty including the UII Faculty of Mathematics & Natural Sciences.

            On Saturday (27/8), the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UII held PNDI I activities offline. PNDI I participants are new students in the Statistics S1 Study Program, Chemistry Education S1 Study Program, Pharmacy S1 Study Program, Chemistry S1 Study Program and Chemical Analyst D3 Study Program. Starting at 07.00 WIB, participants place themselves in their respective classes that have been determined by the DPPAI guided by the musyrif and musyrifah.

The planting and provision of basic Islamic values ​​at UII is carried out through the delivery of material by the presenters in each class. This is considered more effective in increasing the Islamic knowledge of the participants. After the material presentation session, to determine the level of understanding, knowledge and basic abilities, the participants are required to take the Religious Placement Test (PTA). Each participant will be tested on the basic abilities possessed by two PTA examiners. It is hoped that after the PTA, DPPAI can find out the abilities of the participants so that religious guidance can be carried out according to their abilities. The series of PNDI events closed with the Studium Generale event with the theme “Becoming a True Muslim Youth in the Era of Disruption”. The Studium Generale which presented Ustadz Wijayanto was held online and broadcast live through the DPPAI UII youtube channel.
