FMIPA UII – On Saturday, October 8, 2022, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Islam Indonesia (FMIPA UII), underwent a series of visitation activities for the ASIIN International Accreditation (Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik). The assessor for the ASIIN international accreditation was a student representative from Universitas Airlangga, Azalea Rahma Setianti, S.Si.

The visitation was attended by the Dean, Heads of Departments, Heads of Study Programs, Integrated Laboratory representatives, and the entire academic and administrative staff of FMIPA UII.

The visitation began with an opening ceremony held at the FMIPA Auditorium, starting with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, singing of the Indonesian national anthem, the UII Hymn, and opening remarks by the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Riyanto, S.Pd., M.Si., Ph.D., followed by a speech from the assessor, Azalea Rahma Setianti, S.Si.

The ASIIN accreditation visitation continued with a tour of FMIPA UII’s facilities, including classrooms, departmental offices, administrative rooms, toilets, parking area, and the faculty canteen.

The tour then proceeded to the Integrated Laboratory facilities, followed by a tour of several facilities across the Universitas Islam Indonesia campus, including the library, polyclinic, student dormitories, sport center, and language center.

After completing the entire tour of FMIPA and UII facilities, the ASIIN international accreditation visitation concluded with a break for lunch and prayer (Ishoma) as well as the closing session.
