FMIPA UII – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the Islamic University of Indonesia (FMIPA UII) celebrated its 27th anniversary in 2022. Various series of events were held to commemorate and enliven this year’s anniversary with great joy. The activities were organized by the big family of FMIPA UII, starting with the Opening Ceremony through a Healthy Morning Exercise with FMIPA UII Families. A gathering (sarasehan) with the Founders of FMIPA UII, the Rector of UII, and the big family of FMIPA UII was also held. This was followed by the next event, namely a table tennis competition held from November 15 to 17, 2022, in the FMIPA UII basement, participated by 15 teams. The competition was lively, with more teams than the previous year. The table tennis competition was won by the athlete pair Sutaryana and Anton Nugroho in first place, followed by Lindung Prasetya and Tohari in second place, and the mixed pair Hady Anshory and Indriyani in third place.

The next awards were presented at the Peak Event of FMIPA UII’s 27th Anniversary, which began with a Healthy Walk of the FMIPA UII Big Family on November 20, 2022. After the healthy walk, the award categories were announced by Mr. Bayu Wiyantoko, M.Sc. The first category was FMIPA UII’s Best Unit, with First Place awarded to the IT Division (Lungit MW, Sihono, and Rizky W), Second Place to the HR Division (Evi AS, Indriyani, Parwanto, and Suci HBS), and Third Place to the Undergraduate Program Staff Division (Dedi S, M Achnaf, M Chabiburrohman, Istyarto D, and Syarifudin R).

The second category was Best Education Staff (Tendik) of FMIPA UII, with First Place awarded to Istyarto Damarhati (Staff of Chemistry Education Study Program), Second Place to Latifah Nur Hidayati (Administrative Staff of the Pharmacy Laboratory), and Third Place to Rizal Arrosyid (Staff of the D3 Analytical Chemistry Program).

The third category was Best Laboratory of FMIPA UII, with First Place awarded to the Applied Chemistry Laboratory, Second Place to the Microbiology Laboratory, and Third Place to the Pharmacy Research Laboratory.

The fourth category was Best Laboratory Assistant (Laboran) of FMIPA UII, with First Place awarded to Yon Haryanto (Pharmacy Laboratory Staff), Second Place to Aprisilia Rizky Wijaya (Analytical Chemistry Laboratory Staff), and Third Place to Matkli Dimas AS, S.Pd.Si (CEOS Laboratory Staff).

The fifth category was FMIPA UII’s Most Favorite Education Staff and Laboratory Assistant, awarded to Achmad Rossy Cendana, A.Md (Head of Academic Administration Division) and Nuraini Yuliawati, S.Farm (Apothecary Profession Laboratory Staff). The sixth category was the Lifetime Achievement Award given to Christanto Yuwono (Academic Administration Staff). And lastly, the Founders Award of FMIPA UII was given to Dr. Mohammad Ibnu Mastur, MSIE.

That Sunday morning was very bright, with no sign of rain. The environment seemed to join in the joy of FMIPA UII’s 27th Anniversary celebration. The event continued with a group photo session of the leadership and founders of FMIPA UII, followed by a communal meal and friendly gathering of the entire FMIPA UII family, united in a moment full of warmth.

The entire series of the 27th FMIPA UII Anniversary PEAK EVENT was held with great festivity and warmly welcomed by the entire FMIPA faculty and staff. One of the most awaited moments after the healthy walk was the exciting Door Prize Draw. After the event concluded, the participants dispersed in an orderly manner. All the activities of FMIPA UII’s 27th Anniversary were a form of gratitude from the FMIPA UII family in building UII, walking together, embracing and working hand in hand, which is perfectly in line with this year’s anniversary theme: “Growing in Synergy, Devoted to the Ummah.”
