FMIPA Mosque Care 2024

FMIPA UII  – The coordinator of the FMIPA Mosque Care 2024 program, M. Chabiburahmad, S.Kom, began the distribution of aid to mosques and prayer rooms (mushola) recommended by FMIPA UII faculty and staff as part of the FMIPA Mosque Care activities on 16 Ramadan 1445 H / March 27, 2024. The first recipient was Mushola Darrul Mukhlisin, located in Candikarang Village, Sardonoharjo, Ngaglik, Sleman, which received three tarpaulins based on the recommendation of Teguh Dwi Prayogo, staff of the FMIPA UII Master of Statistics Program.

FMIPA Mosque Care is a program that provides assistance to mosques or mushola where FMIPA families—faculty, staff, security, and cleaning personnel—are involved, aiming to enliven the holy month of Ramadan. The committee opens registration for aid proposals from FMIPA academic community members for mosques or mushola in their respective residential areas. The types of aid that can be requested vary widely, from mosque carpets, tents, tables and chairs for mosque needs, prayer time clocks, to mosque pulpits, and other necessities related to worship activities in mosques. After submission, the committee selects proposals and visits the sites to check the eligibility of the mosque or mushola to receive the requested aid.

For the FMIPA Mosque Care 2024 program, six aid proposals were received and, after committee evaluation, all were deemed eligible to receive assistance. The six proposals are: Mushola Darrul Mukhlisin in Candikarang, Ngaglik, Sleman (three tarpaulins); Masjid Ki Ageng Wonolelo in Ngemplak, Sleman (TPA tables); Masjid Al-Mubarok in Ponjong, Gunung Kidul (digital prayer time clock); Mushola Zainul Muslim in Gamping, Sleman (fans); Masjid Al-Fattah in Banguntapan, Bantul (display case for amplifier); and Mushola Miftahul Ulum in Sewon, Bantul (mosque carpet). All these mosques and mushola were recommended by FMIPA academic community members who submitted the aid proposals.
