FMIPA UII – At the graduation release ceremony of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) for Period V of the 2023/2024 academic year, Achmad Isya Alfassa, S.Stat., M.Sc., representing the alumni, emphasized the importance of courage for graduates. “As FMIPA UII alumni, do not be afraid or feel inferior, because we are equipped with knowledge that can compete with graduates from other universities, including those considered more advanced,” he said during the event held at the FMIPA UII Auditorium on May 21, 2024.

A total of 36 graduates were conferred during this period, consisting of the Master of Pharmacy Program (2 graduates, all with cum laude honors), Bachelor of Statistics (15 graduates, 13 of whom graduated cum laude), Bachelor of Chemistry (13 graduates, 8 cum laude), Bachelor of Pharmacy (1 graduate), Bachelor of Chemical Education (3 graduates, all cum laude), and Diploma III in Chemical Analysis (1 graduate).

FMIPA also awarded the best cum laude graduates in each study program, presented by the respective program heads. The event was not only a formal ceremony but also an important moment to hand the graduates back to their parents.

As part of the event, alumni were invited to provide motivation and effective tips for entering the career world. Additionally, the UII Directorate of Career Development and Alumni (DPKA) participated by offering consultations related to job preparation. The event was expected to equip graduates with the spirit and readiness to compete in an increasingly competitive industry.
