FMIPA UII – A total of 32 educational staff members from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at the Islamic University of Indonesia (UII) participated in an advanced training session on Microsoft Excel operation on Friday, 25 Safar 1446 / August 30, 2024, held in the Main Conference Room of FMIPA UII. The training was led by Dr. Sri Kusumadewi, S.Si., MT., from the Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) UII, and focused on strengthening four core topics previously introduced: Data Grouping, Links and References, Searching, and Talk References.
The training was delivered in an engaging manner, keeping participants entertained throughout the session. The trainer began with a quiz to assess participants’ understanding of Excel, helping determine the appropriate starting point for the session.
The Vice Dean for Resources of FMIPA, Apt. Saepudin, M.Si., Ph.D., reminded participants to attend the entire training from start to finish. This training not only aimed to enhance Excel skills but also contributed to the required learning hours for UII educational staff. “By attending all four sessions and one evaluation from 08.00 to 16.00 WIB, participants will earn seven learning hours that count toward the annual 25-hour learning requirement,” he explained.
At the end of the training, participants underwent a material evaluation, Q&A session, and quiz. The trainer awarded prizes to the five best participants who successfully answered the evaluation questions.
