FMIPA UII – In the lead-up to the holy month of Ramadan 1446 H this year, the Department of Pharmacy at FMIPA UII received a remarkable blessing with the issuance of the academic promotion decrees to professorship for two of its top lecturers on 19 Sha’ban 1446 H / 18 February 2025 at the Dr. Sardjito General Lecture Building, Islamic University of Indonesia.

The decrees for the promotion to professor, granted to Prof. apt. Suci Hanifah, SF., M.Si., Ph.D. and Prof. Dr. apt. Vitarani Dwi Ananda Ningrum, S.Si., M.Si., were handed over by the Rector of the Islamic University of Indonesia, Mr. Fathul Wahid, to the respective recipients after being received from the Regional Higher Education Service Institution (LLDikti) Region V of the Special Region of Yogyakarta.

The decrees for the academic promotion to professor were previously issued by the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia on 26 November 2024 for Prof. Dr. apt. Vitarani Dwi Ananda Ningrum, S.Si., M.Si., and on 13 December 2024 for Prof. apt. Suci Hanifah, SF., M.Si., Ph.D.. Consequently, an official inauguration ceremony for the new professors will soon be held at the Islamic University of Indonesia.

Prof. Dr. apt. Vitarani Dwi Ananda Ningrum, S.Si., M.Si. became the second professor of the Department of Pharmacy, with Decree Number 137323/M/07/2024, specializing in the field of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacotherapy. Meanwhile, Prof. apt. Suci Hanifah, SF., M.Si., Ph.D. became the third professor in the department, with Decree Number 141061/M/07/2024, in the field of Clinical Pharmacy. Long before them, Prof. Dr. apt. Yandi Syukri, M.Si. was the first professor in the Department of Pharmacy at FMIPA UII.
