CAMPUS FACILITIES

Various campus facilities at the Islamic University of Indonesia are provided to support students to get the best learning experience during their studies at UII. Supported by an Integrated Campus covering an area of more than 35 hectares, the UII campus is designed to unite people, places, and programs that support the growth of positive interactions both inside and outside the classroom. UII also has several campus buildings and supporting facilities located in strategic areas in the city of Yogyakarta.

UII has dozens of supporting facilities to ensure that all academicians, stakeholders and the entire community can benefit from UII’s vision of rahmatan lil ‘alamin . These supporting facilities can be accessed by students, alumni, and the general public in Yogyakarta.

Campus Mosque, Islamic University of Indonesia

Ulil Albab Mosque

The Ulil Albab Mosque is the main building at the heart of the Integrated Campus life and is one of the 100 most beautiful mosques in Indonesia. When you enter this campus, the Ulil Albab Mosque will welcome you.

As a university that carries the values of Islamic teachings, the existence of the Ulil albab mosque for UII has a very strategic meaning for the religious development of all UII academicians. Masjid Ulil albab has an area of 6450 m2 which can accommodate 1500 worshipers. This mosque is not only used for the sake of worship, but has been developed in such a way as a research center in this case, namely the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM).

Auditorium Islamic University of Indonesia

Prof. Auditorium KH. Abdulkahar Mudzakkir is part of a multifunctional building. Students and the community can take advantage of these facilities. Information on the schedule for using the Auditorium can be seen on the Auditorium webpage.

Library

The UII Central Library has a collection of more than 500,000 books and online reference sources and continues to grow. The Central Library is located in the Mohammad Hatta Building on the UII Integrated Campus, Jalan Kaliurang Yogyakarta. The Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) can be accessed online on the website of the UII Library Directorate.

Ki Bagoes Hadikoesoemo Sports Building

Ki Bagoes Hadikoesoemo Sports Building (GOR) is a sports facility owned by UII. This highly representative gym has a capacity of approximately 600 people. There is one basketball court and 3 badminton courts that can be enjoyed by students or the general public.

CILACS

Center for International Language and Cultural Studies Universitas Islam Indonesia (CILACS UII) is a Language and Cultural Training Center under the Indonesian Islamic University, Yogyakarta. As one of the supporting units , CILACS UII is committed to improving foreign language competence in the UII academic community. Along with this, CILACS UII also has a broad goal of taking part as a leading foreign language education institution in Yogyakarta.

UII Career Center is an institution in helping alumni both in getting a job or creating jobs (Entrepreneur). This institution prepares capacity building programs for students and alumni through related training programs, including Jobseekers Workshop, Entrepreneur Workshop, Career Mentoring, Psychological Testing and Career Counseling.

The Rusunawa for students is a new building donated by the Ministry of Public Housing which was handed over to UII at the end of 2007. This flat has a capacity of 300 students which is temporarily designated for student activities.

UII Training Ground

UII Training Ground is a training field facility that will be used as a sports training center with world-quality grass. The UII field itself has an area of 68 meters x 105 meters which has entered international field standards. The wicket is also designed with international standards which have been installed well in the field. And this field management is also carried out professionally.

UII Hospital presents health services by specialist doctors and medical professionals who are professional in their fields, and is supported by complete and modern health facilities and technology combined with a clean and friendly environment to provide comprehensive services.

The shareholding structure of UII Hospital is owned by the Indonesian Islamic University Waqf Foundation.
