EVEN SEMESTER FINAL EXAM AT FACULTY OF MIPA UII, ONLINE AND OFFLINE METHODS BECOME OPTION

Entering the end of the even semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year, Thursday (21/7) became the first day for the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UII to undergo the Final Semester Examination (UAS). UAS is one of a series of academic activities of educational institutions and institutions that must be held at the end of each semester. This final semester exam will take place from 21-30 July 2022.

Seeing the current situation which is still being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, FMIPA UII has adapted to find the best solution so that UAS can continue as planned. Therefore, the procedures and technical implementation of UAS are carried out through two methods, namely online and offline. The online UAS implementation procedure itself is carried out in several ways, namely by taking home or through a zoom meeting supervised by supervisors to minimize fraud. Students who have finished taking the exam are required to submit exam results through the task forum provided by the lecturer in Google Classroom or the Learning Management System (LMS) that has been agreed with the student. The results of the assessment will later become one of the components of the student’s final semester evaluation.

This final semester exam is expected to be an evaluation and benchmark to determine the level of achievement of student learning competence outcomes for lecturers. The exam committee has also prepared everything in detail and structured so that the 2021/2022 Final Semester Final Examination can run well and smoothly.
